When designing the interior of the Koltsovo VIP-lounge, the studio's architects we inspired by the Ural Mountains, but in a slightly different way — more straightforwardly. In the center of the hall there was organized an object of complex shape. In its shape and finish, etched copper is combined with illuminated colored stained-glass windows — this object directly refers to mountain ranges. Entering it, passengers seem to find themselves in piedmont tunnels and mines, which are actually individual functional zones. The decoration of the lounge is made of high-quality porcelain stoneware with the effect of natural stone, felt panels and special fire-resistant panels made of wood veneer for wall cladding.
