The Sheremetyevskaya station image is bright and unusual, and reminds of remarkable constructivism objects. The volume of the station creates an optical illusion of a giant «ON» sign used in many technical devices. The sign invites to dive into the Moscow cultural life vortex − many theaters are located nearby, such as Satirikon, the Soviet Army theatre, KVN Planet. Architects created contemporary and avant-garde decorations on the station, inviting the passengers to become a part of this optical illusion, as actors on the scene of a theatre, which the station becomes. Moving through the station space will make it change visually. The design creates navigation structure – the color lines point out the crosswalks and exits. Recommended materials: metal-ceramics, ceramic granite of various shades, backlit panels and translucent light panels, granite floor slabs.
