The concept of the project conveys the natural beauty and richness of the southern region — beauty of the endless horizon of the Don. A metal profile, located at the eye level of a standing person, draws a graphic line resembling the horizon along the partitions around the lounge perimeter. A visually heavier finishing is selected for the partitions below the profile line. A linear source of light is hidden in the profile, illuminating the top surfaces with blue light. The idea was to make the space in its upper part less material and more ephemeral and dissolved. This is also facilitated by the “absent” ceiling and the transparent partitions dividing the hall into functional areas. The partitions are varied in height, proportions and color, but they are all enclosed in thin metal frames which echo with the “horizon” graphics. Transparent layers and thin lines overlap in perspective, and in the center there is a large blue mirror sun, which hovers above increasing the illusory depth of space.
