A two-level penthouse apartment is not used as a living space, but as a pied-a-terre for parties in Moscow – the owners permanently live out of the city. Therefore, the architects offered to use the style of modern luxury for the apartment interior. To implement this idea, they chose three colors – white, black and gold. The hollow white fragments are stylishly combined with richly ornamented gold or black details. The shapes of some pieces of furniture, as well as the apertures and even the entire rooms are rather exotic as if they have come from the future. Futurism combined with gold fills the space with sunlight and creates an unusually optimistic impression. The authors have made an unrestrained breakthrough towards chic and glamor, combining them with irony. At the same time they managed to stay true to the style and not to violate good taste.
